This certifies that Unicorn Meat (🍖) is an authentic historic Ethereum token, deployed on Ethereum Mainnet in March 2016 by Alex Van de Sande (avsa.eth) — creator of the Ethereum Wallet and Mist Browser, co-creator of ENS, and core Ethereum Foundation developer since 2014.
The token predates the ERC-20 standard and stands among the earliest smart contract tokens ever deployed on Ethereum. It was publicly announced by the official @ethereum Twitter account on April 1, 2016.

All three original contracts share a single deployer address — 0xD1220A0cf47c7B9Be7A2E6BA89F429762e7b9aDb (alex.vandesande.eth) — which Etherscan independently labels as an Ethereum Foundation address.
